Time and again, autumn with its warm, vibrant colours of red, golden yellow and orange is the subject of small and large works in series, mainly in oil on canvas or ink on paper.
This third season tells us of the passing of the year and of transience in general, the constant cycle of becoming and passing away. For me, this is both peaceful and beautiful, yet at the same time deeply sad. It is a regret for the constant loss, the need to accept change and the realisation that everything has or had its time.

Here sometimes Stephan put together a small collection of his paintings for your convenience. Either new works he wants to show or issues that have touched him just intensively.
