This is not the first series about the Garden of Eden. But it is the most extensive and shows the whole paradise in 41 pieces, all 14.8 x 14.8 cm and all made with paint color and oil on cardboard.
Here are seasons, light, sun, water, flowers, plants and animals. Only humans are missing. Ironically. Since he invented the Garden of Eden actually. Without him, paradise would not exist at all, but not with him either. The paradise is only possible without man, or else it would be none. An amusing paradox.

If you do not want to dig around:
Here sometimes Stephan put togehter a small collection of his paintings for your convinience. Either new works he wants to show or issues that have touched him just intensively - or both.
Coconut, real palm fronds, t-shirt with tropical print motif and surrounded by Berlin-Kreuzberg. This is how it philosophizes to the Garden of Eden wonderfully narrow-gauge.
Enjoy.
